If your religious parents are engaging in bizarre and irrational behavior, they are likely schizophrenic, and it is a toxic environment for children
Children raised in religious households often have to deal with talk of demons. But sometimes these things can just go too far. Do your parents make bizarre claims, like your toys can come to life and hurt you, that cartoons on TV can lead to demonic possession, that paintings on walls come alive to torment people? This is taking demonic possession beyond the pale and it warping children's sense of reality.
Do your parents claim to suffer demonic attacks because you are not following their religion properly and have therefore allowed satan to enter the house? Do your parents do strange and manipulative things like pretend they can no longer sleep in their room because it is inhabited by evil entities which you are responsible for bringing into the home and now they must sleep in a communal area to avoid night spiritual terror attacks? Do your parents not allow you to have gifts from people because there could be satanic energy connected to it? Are you told that reading certain books can lead to demon night rape?
These are not normal ideas and are signs that your parent is suffering from schizophrenia and that they are dangerous. Religious schizophrenics are often paranoid and evil, aggressive, and violent. They may look into your eyes and see demons and start flying into a psychotic panic. Do your parents make up stories about you and say things like your face contorts into weird deluded expressions because of the demons inside of you, or do they gaslight you and make up events that never happened or put words into your mouth? Do your parents say you go into disassociative states and engage in ritual behavior that is indicative of demonic possession that you don't even remember and obviously never happened? Do your parents hallucinate and see things like angels that give them special messages that may include visions that you are evil?
If this is happening to you, then your religious parents are likely schizophrenic and you are not safe in your home. Schizophrenics can become violent and insane and do crazy things that might hurt you. My own mother engaged in these kinds of activities and it was very damaging to me. I was not raised with a normal healthy sense of reality and was made to go along with my mother's psychotic visions. This is a toxic environment for children, and mental illness can be contagious; I suffered from fear that I might see scary and supernatural visions for many years as I was taught demons like to taunt people. Every bump in the night was a demon to me, even into adulthood. This did not serve me and only hurt me and drained my precious energy. If this is happening to you then you need to go to school officials and let them know what is happening, you need to get out. If you begin suffering hallucinations don't be fooled into thinking it is demons, you have likely inherited a chemical imbalance from your parent, but unlike them, you can know you are hallucinating and not let it affect your life or the life of your own children.

ReplyDeleteDEARLY beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this Congregation, to join together this man and this woman in holy Matrimony; which is an honourable estate, instituted of God in the time of man's innocency, signifying unto us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ and his Church; which holy estate Christ adorned and beautified with his presence, and first miracle that he wrought, in Cana of Galilee; and is commended of Saint Paul to be honourable among all men: and therefore is not by any to be enterprised, nor taken in hand, unadvisedly, lightly, or wantonly, to satisfy men's carnal lusts and appetites, like brute beasts that have no understanding; but reverently, discreetly, advisedly, soberly, and in the fear of God; duly considering the causes for which Matrimony was ordained.
ReplyDeleteFirst, It was ordained for the procreation of children, to be brought up in the fear and nurture of the Lord, and to the praise of his holy Name.
Secondly, It was ordained for a remedy against sin, and to avoid fornication; that such persons as have not the gift of continency might marry, and keep themselves undefiled members of Christ's body.
Thirdly, It was ordained for the mutual society, help, and comfort, that the one ought to have of the other, both in prosperity and adversity. Into which holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. Therefore if any man can shew any just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace.
